- Shikha have always tried to see the positive in everything as I know nothing is what it seems. Nothing is permanent as the transitions are never ending. My personality is like my mind- both can never be contained and they work best when opened. Hence I feel best alone and I am my best companion, since as far as I can remember I have been with myself even when a lot came and left. Hence I think I know myself the best. I was 11 no….12 years old when my fascination towards this enthralling instrument called camera and the process of freezing a moment on to a tangible instrument like paper started. I realized that on the whole the camera to me was a very selfish instrument as I tried to capture an image as MY version of reality as compared to all the others version seen by everyone else. It was trying to show the world what I saw and how my mind processed it. Sometimes when I look at some of the photo’s I clicked them. It is as if my work can act as an auto biographical mechanism reflecting me in a weird way. Photography for me represents a journey within not without. It is a view of the world entrapped in me. An entry into which I could not allow, hence I offer a glimpse of.
